Baseload, Seasonal and Peaking Natural Gas Supply Contracts for 2010/11

O R D E R
WHEREAS:
A. On August 26, 2010, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) by Letter L-63-10, accepted the Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) Inc. (TGVI) 2010/11 Annual Gas Contracting Plan (ACP);
B. On November 19, 2010, TGVI filed an application with the Commission for acceptance of the baseload and seasonal supply allocation between monthly and daily priced contracts as well as the monthly and daily market premiums for baseload, seasonal, and peaking transactions not yet accepted by the Commission;
C. On December 20, 2010, TGVI filed an Erratum Filing with the Commission providing corrections to the original filing;
D. TGVI has requested that the documents associated with the filing remain confidential due to their commercially sensitive nature as described in the filing’s cover letter;
E. The Commission reviewed the TGVI’s filing and is satisfied that the supply allocation and the gas supply contract premiums are appropriate and consistent with the ACP.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and the Commission’s Rules for Natural Gas Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission accepts for filing the executed natural gas contracts shown in Appendix A to this Order. The Commission will keep confidential the documents associated with the filing due to their commercially sensitive nature as stated in TGVI’s cover letter.
