A Filing by Terasen Gas Inc. – Revelstoke Service Area

For Approval of Propane Supply Agreement

with MP Energy Partnership

O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

A.      On March 23, 2010 Terasen Gas Inc. (Terasen Gas) filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) for approval a propane supply agreement between MP Energy Partnership and Terasen Gas Inc. – Revelstoke Service Area for the period from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2012; and

 

B.      On March 31, 2010 Terasen Gas provided updated information regarding estimated north and south (Alberta) propane transportation blends; and

 

C.      Terasen Gas has requested that the documents associated with the filing remain confidential due to their commercially sensitive nature as described in Terasen Gas’ cover letter; and

 

D.      The Commission has reviewed the Terasen Gas filing and is satisfied that the propane supply contract is appropriate and in the public interest.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71 of the Utilities Commission Act and Rules for Natural Gas Energy Supply Contracts, the Commission orders as follows:

1.    The Commission accepts for filing the unexecuted contract between MP Energy Partnership and Terasen Gas Inc. – Revelstoke Service Area for the period from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2012.

 

 

2.    Terasen Gas is to file with the Commission the executed agreement when it is available.

 

3.    The Commission will keep confidential documents associated with the Filing as requested by Terasen Gas due to their commercially sensitive nature as stated in its cover letter.
