O R D E R
WHEREAS:
A. Commission Order G-67-09 required entities subject to approved Mandatory Reliability Standards to file mitigation plans outlining steps they will take to comply with standards they are not currently in compliance with; and
B. The Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) has reviewed the following mitigation plans submitted by British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority on June 30, 2010 and has recommended certain plans for acceptance or dismissal; and
C. The WECC recommends mitigation plans for the following standards be accepted:
• PRC-011-0 R2 [with a completion date of December 15, 2010, and subject to section 5.2, 5.4, and 5.5 of the Compliance Monitoring Program (CMP)];
• PRC-017-0 R2 (with a completion date of December 15, 2010 and subject to section 5.2, 5.4, and 5.5 of the CMP);
• CIP-005-1 R2 (with a completion date of December 15, 2010 and subject to section 5.2, 5.4, and 5.5 of the CMP);
• CIP-004-1 R4 (subject to section 5.2, 5.4, and 5.5 of the CMP);
• CIP-004-1 R2, R3 (subject to section 5.2, 5.4 and 5.5 of the CMP);
• FAC-008-1 R1, R2, R3 (subject to section 5.2, 5.4, and 5.5 of the CMP); and
D. The WECC recommends mitigation plans for the following standards be dismissed:
• MOD-016-1 R1, R2 (no violation).
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 125.2 (10) of the Utilities Commission Act, the British Columbia Utilities Commission accepts the WECC recommendations and approves the acceptance or dismissal of the mitigation plans, as listed above.
