IN THE MATTER OF

and

 

An Application by Rio Tinto Alcan for approval of Mitigation Plan

required for compliance with Mandatory Reliability Standards

O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

 

A.            Commission Order G-67-09 required entities that are subject to approved Mandatory Reliability Standards, to file mitigation plans outlining steps they will take to comply with standards they are not currently in compliance with; and

 

B.         The Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) has reviewed the Rio Tinto Alcan Mitigation Plan associated with Reliability Standard PRC-018-1, Requirements 1-6; and

 

C.        The WECC recommends Mitigation Plan for the Reliability Standard PRC-018-1 Requirements R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 (no violation), be dismissed.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 125.2 (10) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission accepts the WECC’s recommendations and approves dismissal of the Mitigation Plan as listed above.
