O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

 

A.      Commission Order G-67-09 required entities subject to approved Mandatory Reliability Standards to file Mitigation Plans outlining how they plan to meet compliance with standards they were not in compliance with;

 

B.      On September 15, 20, 21, 29 and October 20, 2010, the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) recommended that British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) retraction requests for Mitigation Plans for the following standards be approved:

MOD-019-0 R1

IRO-001-1 R8

MOD-021-0 R1

IRO-004-1 R4

MOD-021-0 R2

IRO-005-2 R9

MOD-021-0 R3

IRO-005-2 R13

PRC-004-1 R2

MOD-017-0 R1

PRC-004-1 R3

MOD-018-0 R1

VAR-001-1 R5

MOD-018-0 R2

VAR-STD-002a-1 WR1

VAR-STD-002b-1 WR1

 

 


 

C.      On October 11, 2010 and December 1, 2010 the WECC recommended revised Mitigation Plans for the following standards be accepted:

 

CIP-004-1 R1 (completion date April 1, 2012)

CIP-004-1 R2 (completion date April 1, 2012)

CIP-004-1 R3 (completion date April 1, 2012)

CIP-004-1 R4 (completion date April 1, 2012)

TOP-001-1 R7 (completion date September 14, 2010)

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 125.2 (10) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission accepts the WECC recommendations and approves the mitigation plans for retraction and acceptance as listed above.
