O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

 

A.    By Order A-22-10 dated October 14, 2010, the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) issued to Cascadia Energy Ltd. (Cascadia) a Gas Marketer Licence for the period November 1, 2010 to October 31, 2011;

 

B.    On August 10, 2011, Cascadia applied to the Commission to terminate its gas marketer licence A-22-10.  Cascadia confirmed that it has no customers enrolled under the Customer Choice program with FortisBC Energy Inc., nor do they have any contracts or other commitments with any customers under the licence;

 

C.    The Commission has reviewed Cascadia’s application and considers approval is warranted.

 

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 71.1(6) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission approves the termination of Cascadia’s Gas Marketer Licence A-22-10, effective immediately.
