Application to Amend Tariff Supplement No. 74 –
Customer Baseline Load Determination Guidelines and CBL Adjustment Tariff Practices
On August 19, 2011 British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) for approval to amend Tariff Supplement No. 74 – Customer Baseline Load (CBL) Determination Guidelines (Application).
The Commission is requesting any Transmission Service Rate Schedule 1823 customers and interested stakeholders provide their comments on BC Hydro’s proposed amendments to the Commission Secretary by Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
In its application BC Hydro requests the following amendments to Tariff Supplement No. 74:
• Merge two documents: Tariff Supplement No. 74 - CBL Determination Guidelines, and the CBL Adjustment Practices;
• Amend Sections 1.0 and 2.0 of Tariff Supplement No. 74, including changes to the definition of “Demand-side Management”, “Energy Savings Persistence”, and “Force Majeure”;
• Add new content as outlined in the application; and
• Re-order sections.
BC Hydro is requested to provide each RS 1823 customer and potentially interested stakeholder with a copy of this letter and the Application by Monday, September 26, 2011.
Customers are invited to comment on the proposed amendments by Wednesday, October 12, 2011, to the Commission Secretary at the following address:

Customers are requested to copy any comments to BC Hydro. BC Hydro is invited to respond to any comments by Wednesday, October 26, 2011. After receiving the responses, the Commission will determine what further process, if any, is required.
