O  R  D  E  R

WHEREAS:

A.       On November 1, 1992, FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI), formerly BC Gas Inc., entered into a Franchise Agreement with the District of Elkford (Municipality);

B.       The Franchise Agreement expired October 23, 2013;

C.       On November 18, 2013, FEI applied to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) for approval of an Amending Agreement (Application) that extends the term of the Franchise Agreement to March 31, 2014;

D.       The Commission reviewed the Application and considers that approval is warranted.

NOW THEREFORE the Commission, pursuant to Section 45 of the Utilities Commission Act, approves the Amending Agreement as filed.
