O  R  D  E  R

 

WHEREAS:

A.      On November 28, 2014, Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. [PNG (NE)] filed its 2015 Revenue Requirements Application for the Fort St. John/Dawson Creek division (PNG (NE) FSJ/DC) with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) pursuant to sections 58 to 61, of the Utilities Commission Act (UCA), seeking Commission approval to, among other things, increase the delivery charge component of customer rates for PNG (NE) FSJ/DC (Application);

B.      On December 15, 2014, by Order G-197-14, the Commission approved, on an interim basis, effective January 1, 2015, the increase in the delivery rates component of rates for the FSJ/DC division and the RSAM rate rider set forth in the Application. The order also established an initial regulatory timetable for the review of the Application; and

C.      On March 27, 2015, by Order G-50-14, the Commission approved PNG (NE)’s March 9, 2015 request to withdraw the Application.

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to sections 59 to 61 of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission directs Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. [PNG (NE)] to refund the difference between the interim rates approved effective


 

January 1, 2015 and the permanent delivery charge with interest at the average prime rate of PNG (NE)’s principal bank for its most recent year.
