ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      On July 6, 2016, Creative Energy Vancouver Platforms Inc. (Creative Energy) filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (Commission) an application for a reconsideration and variance of Order G-88-16 pursuant to section 99 of the Utilities Commission Act (UCA) (Reconsideration Application);

B.      On July 15, 2016, by Order G-114-16, the Commission established a regulatory timetable with a written argument process;

C.      The following interveners submitted written arguments:

         BC Sustainable Energy Association and Sierra Club BC;

         Commercial Energy Consumers Association of British Columbia;

         City of Vancouver;

         FortisBC Alternative Energy Services Inc.; and

         FortisBC Energy Inc. ;

D.      On September 26, 2016, by Order G-151-16, the Commission denied the Reconsideration Application;

E.       The following participants filed Participant Assistance/Cost Award (PACA) applications with the Commission with respect to their participation in the proceeding:

F.       By email dated October 19, 2016, the Commission provided copies of the PACA applications and requested comments from Creative Energy within ten business days. No comments were received; and

G.     The Commission has reviewed the PACA applications in accordance with the criteria and rates set out in the PACA Guidelines, attached to Commission Order G-72-07, and concludes that the cost awards should be approved.

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 118(1) of the Utilities Commission Act, the Commission orders as follows:

 

1.       Funding is awarded to the following interveners in the listed amounts for their participation in the Creative Energy Vancouver Platforms Inc. Application for Reconsideration and Variance of Order G-88-16proceeding:
