WHEREAS:
A. On February 6, 2019, Corix Multi-Utility Services Inc. (Corix) filed a letter with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) requesting an extension for filing the revenue requirement application (RRA) for Dockside Green Energy (DGE) from February 15, 2019 to March 31, 2019 (Application);
B. In the Application, Corix states that it requires the requested extension in order to complete its consultation with customers in advance of filing the RRA, including holding an open house in late February or early March of 2019;
C. By Order G-247-18 and accompanying reasons for decision dated December 20, 2018, the BCUC approved interim rates for DGE effective January 1, 2019 and directed Corix to file the DGE RRA, as originally directed by Order G-166-18, by February 15, 2019;
D. By Order G-166-18 dated September 4, 2018, the BCUC approved, among other things, the sale and disposition of DGE assets and the transfer of the DGE Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) to Corix. The BCUC also directed Corix to file an application for revenue requirements and expenditures associated with installing new natural gas boilers in the central energy facility by the end of 2018; and
E. The BCUC has reviewed the Application and considers Corix’s requested extension warranted.
NOW THEREFORE the BCUC approves Corix’s application to extend the filing deadline for the Dockside Green Energy revenue requirement application from February 15, 2019 to March 31, 2019.
DATED at the City of Vancouver, in the Province of British Columbia, this 14th day of February 2019.
