ORDER

WHEREAS:

A.      On September 22, 2020, Stargas Utilities Ltd. (Stargas) submitted an application to the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) seeking interim and permanent approval to decrease its delivery rate from $5.77 per gigajoule (GJ) to $4.59 per GJ, effective November 1, 2020, among other requests (Application);

B.      By Order G-272-20 dated October 28, 2020, the BCUC established, among other things, a regulatory timetable for the review of the Application, which included Stargas filing supplementary information, intervener registration, one round of BCUC and intervener information requests (IRs) to Stargas, and further process to be determined following Stargas’ filing of responses to IR No. 1; and

C.      By letter dated December 9, 2020, Stargas requested an extension to the filing deadline of its responses to IR No. 1 from December 10, 2020 to December 14, 2020;

D.      By letter dated December 11, 2020, Stargas submitted a further request seeking to extend the deadline for filing its responses to IR No. 1 to December 17, 2020;

E.       The BCUC has reviewed Stargas’ extension requests and determines that an amended regulatory timetable should be established.

NOW THEREFORE the BCUC orders that the regulatory timetable established by Order G-272-20 is amended, as set out in Appendix A to this order.
