Request to Discontinue Annual Reporting Requirement for Rate Schedule 14A

ORDER

WHEREAS:

 

A.      By letter dated December 1, 2022, FortisBC Energy Inc. (FEI) requested that the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) discontinue the requirement to submit a Rate Schedule 14A (RS 14A) Annual Report, in accordance with Directive 5 of Order G-152-12 (Application);

B.       On October 18, 2012, the BCUC issued Order G-152-12, approving the continuation of RS 14A on a permanent basis and directed, among other things, that FEI continue to file a report for RS 14A within 30 days of the end of each gas contract year; and

C.       The BCUC has reviewed the Application and considers that FEI’s request to discontinue RS 14A Annual Reporting is warranted.

 

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to section 99 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC orders that Directive 5 of Order
G-152-12 is varied as follows:

 

1.          FEI must file an Annual Report for RS 14A that summarizes monthly gas purchase and sales quantities, and costs and revenue for each month, with the BCUC within 30 days of the end of the gas contract year, should any customers take service under RS 14A during the reporting period.
