Request for Acceptance of Housekeeping Amendments
to the Consolidated Gas Sales Tariff

ORDER
WHEREAS:
A. On September 26, 2023, Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. and Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (PNG) filed tariff pages to document and incorporate references to rate changes approved by the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC). The filings also included a request for housekeeping amendments to PNG’s Consolidated Gas Sales Tariff and endorsement by the BCUC (altogether, Application). The amendments include:
• Minor edits and amendments to presentation on tariff sheets, notably changes to per GJ charges and the presentation of footnotes (i.e. PNG-West Rate Schedules RS 22, RS 33, RS 40 and RS 80, FSJ/DC RS 6, RS 10 and RS 23, and TR RS 5);
• For future reference and clarity, relocation of footnote references to Backstopping Gas, Unauthorized Overrun Gas and Balancing Gas to page 25 of FSJ/DC RS 23 from page 26. PNG included as Attachment C in the application, a PDF copy of the most recently approved FSJ/DC RS 23 for reference and context; and
• For future reference and clarity, incorporation of footnote references to Backstopping Gas, Unauthorized Overrun Gas and Balancing Gas into PNG-West RS 22 and RS 33. PNG included as Attachment D in the application, a PDF copy of the most recently approved PNG-West RS 23 (which includes tariff pages for RS 22 and RS 33) for reference and context;
B. On September 14, 2023, the BCUC issued Orders G-245-23 and G-246-23 to PNG, approving rate changes in the Granisle service area and Tumbler Ridge service area. Directive 6 of Order G-245-23 and Directive 8 of Order G-246-23 directed PNG to file revised tariff pages. On September 26, 2023, PNG filed tariff pages for rate changes effective October 1, 2023, in accordance with Orders G-245-23 and G-246-23, and included a request for endorsement of housekeeping amendments to its Consolidated Gas Sales Tariff; and
C. The BCUC has reviewed the Application and considers that acceptance of the housekeeping amendments to the Consolidated Gas Sales Tariff is warranted.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to sections 61-63 of the Utilities Commission Act, the BCUC orders as follows:
1. PNG’s request for acceptance and endorsement of the housekeeping amendments to the Consolidated Gas Sales Tariff is approved.
2. The tariff pages included with the Application are accepted for filing.
