Hobbs, Chair R.D. Deane, Commissioner O R D E R WHEREAS: A. The Commission, by Order No. G-61-95 approved for BC Gas Utility Ltd., now known as Terasen Gas Inc. (“Terasen Gas”), Reference Price Factors for Buy/Sell Energy Supply Contracts; and B. On August 27, 2003, Terasen Gas applied to the Commission to modify the existing Buy/Sell Mechanism for an effective notification date retroactive to July 1, 2003. This is the last date a marketer can provide notice to Terasen Gas to permit the delivery of Buy/Sell Gas by November 1, 2003; and C. Terasen Gas also applied to terminate the existing Buy/Sell Mechanism effective November 1, 2004 at which time commodity choice for small volume commercial customers will be in place; and D. The Commission has reviewed the application and finds that amendments to the Buy/Sell Mechanism are in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE the Commission approves for Terasen Gas amendments to the Buy/Sell Mechanism effective July 1, 2003 and the cancellation of the Buy/Sell Mechanism effective November 1, 2004.
